When our field team first encountered Grace Mankeh, the situation was deeply heartbreaking. She was a young woman facing significant, systemic challenges in continuing her education. During this incredibly agonizing season, she was left completely without the financial resources needed to build a viable career. Consequently, she had nowhere left to turn and was forced to face an uncertain future without a professional safety net.
Our team refused to look away, so we stepped in immediately to protect them. Through our ongoing Holistic Livelihood Support, we completely addressed the immediate emergency by covering her full dressmaking apprenticeship fee. Additionally, we secured her placement in specialized dress marking and sewing training to guarantee her future stabilization and self-reliance.
