    Terrence Shey

    Founder & Chief Executive Officer

    I am the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Faith in God Charity Missions. Guided by my Christian faith and a deep commitment to transforming lives, I have dedicated my leadership to empowering widows, orphans, and less privileged communities across Cameroon and the United States.

    Under my leadership, FIGCM has built programs around four strategic pillars: Food Security & Health, Livelihood Enrichment, Educational Assistance, and Evangelism. Through these initiatives, we provide practical support, create sustainable opportunities, restore hope, and reach thousands of vulnerable individuals and families each year.

    For me, serving others is more than a professional responsibility, it is a divine calling. I lead with compassion, accountability, and the firm belief that every person deserves the opportunity to overcome hardship and build a better future. I am especially committed to creating sustainable solutions that help individuals and communities move from dependency to dignity, stability, and lasting empowerment.

    Beyond FIGCM, I serve as Manager of Technology Solutions at Prison Fellowship International, drawing on my experience in information technology, systems administration, and nonprofit leadership to strengthen technology operations, organizational governance, security, and mission delivery.

    What inspires me most is witnessing people move from despair to hope, from struggle to empowerment. Knowing that our work gives people a genuine opportunity to rebuild their lives fuels my commitment to keep serving, growing, and building solutions that create lasting change.

    Chief Development & Communications Officer

    Eric Gray is a nonprofit executive, social-services professional, and community advocate whose work focuses on housing stability, mental health, justice-system diversion, and improving access to resources for vulnerable communities. He brings extensive experience in case management, organizational operations, partnership development, fundraising, grant strategy, communications, and community engagement. His leadership is grounded in faith, lived experience, and a commitment to ensuring that individuals and families are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

    At Faith in God Charity Missions, Eric serves as Chief Development & Communications Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. In this role, he provides leadership across development and fundraising, communications and storytelling, outreach and strategic partnerships, digital presence, and organizational impact reporting. Volunteering with FIGCM allows Eric to use his experience and relationships to strengthen the organization’s visibility, sustainability, and ability to serve widows, orphans, and vulnerable communities in the United States and internationally.

    Eric is passionate about servant leadership, community advocacy, mentoring, and developing collaborative solutions to homelessness, poverty, and barriers to opportunity. Outside of his professional and volunteer work, he values spending time with his family, supporting youth development and athletics, and remaining actively involved in efforts that strengthen his community. He is inspired by his faith and the belief that purposeful service can create meaningful and lasting change.

  • Ama Yeboa Essel

    Ama Yeboa Essel

    Human Resource & Volunteer Management

    I’ve always been the person who notices when something isn’t working and wants to fix it. That’s taken me through a lot of different kinds of work: banking, AI training, Salesforce consulting, and now HR. Different jobs, same instinct: find what’s slowing people down, and fix it. My background spans human resources, volunteer management, administration, customer service, HR operations, business analysis, and HR technology. I’m especially interested in designing systems and processes that improve the employee and volunteer experience while helping organizations run more efficiently.

    As the HR & Volunteer Management Officer, I handle recruitment, onboarding, and volunteer management, but the part of my job I care most about is serving as Product Owner for our custom HRIS. I get to sit with the people actually doing the work, hear where things get clunky or slow, and build something better. FIGCM’s mission made that work feel different. I’m not just fixing a process for a company’s bottom line, I’m helping a team whose entire job is showing up for people who have nowhere else to turn.

    Outside FIGCM, I’m usually chasing the next book or the next system worth improving; I hold an MBA and five Salesforce certifications, with more learning always in motion. When I’m not working, I unwind with music and make sure I get moving, exercise clears my head the same way a clean process does. What inspires me to serve is simple: using my skills for something bigger than a job title, knowing the work translates directly into support for people who need it.

    Jonathan Katzmark

    Business Analyst

    I’ve spent most of my life in service work of one kind or another.

    Sixteen years in the Army, then two decades in kitchens, first as an executive chef, later running restaurants as a general manager.

    Different uniforms, same job: get a team pointed at something that matters and clear the obstacles out of their way.

    That mission-orientation is what pulled me into charity work. The Army taught me what it means to give back, and I’ve never lost the pull toward work that’s bigger than any one person. FIGCM is where that leads right now, and honestly, the best part is knowing I can help make a difference, meeting people and volunteers from all over the world coming together for a common cause.

    As FIGCM’s Business Analyst, my job is to understand what the team needs and where things get in their way, and then build the tools that help them do the mission better. The rest of my week goes to building software and AI automation at Forthright Solutions, and to school. I finished an MBA and an MS in Data Analytics at UW-River Falls, and I start doctoral work this fall. Outside all of it I still cook, mostly for my wife, Issa, spend time with my two pets, one cat and one dog, and get outside with my family through Minnesota’s beautiful falls and winters.

    I am an education professional and humanitarian volunteer dedicated to advancing quality education and improving the well-being of vulnerable communities. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and the Teacher’s Grade One Certificate. With extensive experience in teaching, educational administration, and financial management within the education sector, I have consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about empowering learners, strengthening educational institutions, and fostering environments that support academic and personal growth, work that also fuels my commitment to youth empowerment, mentoring young people, and expanding educational opportunities.

    At Faith in God Charity Missions, I serve as Grant Writer Coordinator, where I support the development of funding proposals, donor applications, and project concept notes. I work closely with the leadership team to research funding opportunities, prepare grant documentation, and align proposals with the organization’s humanitarian priorities. My role contributes to securing resources that support educational programs, relief assistance, and essential services for vulnerable children, widows, and underserved families.

    My volunteer service is driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of compassion, collaboration, and community engagement. Guided by the values of integrity, service, and lifelong learning, I view volunteering as a meaningful opportunity to contribute to sustainable development and uphold the dignity and well-being of those in need. My vision is to inspire hope, empower individuals, and help build stronger, more resilient communities.

    I am a passionate young Cameroonian from the North West Region, Donga Mantung Division, Ndu Sub-Division. I am a Senior Livestock Technician by profession, but I have a deep passion for humanitarian work. This has led me to serve people indiscriminately, advocating for the rights of women and the girl child. I have trained and mentored about 100 young people, contributing positively to driving change in and outside my community. I am also an agripreneur, with several skills that help bridge gaps within the community.

    I serve as the Grant Coordinator at Faith in God Charity Missions. Growing up as an orphan was not easy for me, so I promised myself I would live to serve others, especially orphans. Joining the FIGCM grant writing team is part of fulfilling that promise, and to me, it is always an honor.

    I am deeply interested in community building, solving community problems, and bridging the gaps I see around me. My passion for serving vulnerable groups, especially, is my greatest strength. I love sharing and writing, particularly about the problems affecting my community, and this is what drove me into grant writing. I identify problems, put them into writing, search for funders who can support the project, and work together with them to bring solutions and resolve those problems.

    I am Tanko Nchanji Bless, a Mathematics teacher, gospel minister, and passionate volunteer committed to using my gifts to impact lives for the glory of God. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Engineering (Mathematical Economics) from the University of Dschang, Cameroon. Alongside teaching, I am deeply involved in Christian ministry through worship, music, media, and discipleship, with a heart for helping people grow in their relationship with Christ.

    As a volunteer with Faith in God Charity Missions, I contribute my skills in media, communication, and ministry to support the organization’s mission of demonstrating God’s love through compassionate outreach. Volunteering has given me the opportunity to be part of transforming lives while serving alongside people who share a passion for advancing God’s Kingdom. I consider it a privilege to use my time and talents to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.

    Outside of my professional and volunteer work, I enjoy worship ministry, gospel music, teaching, content creation, and leadership development. I am inspired by seeing lives changed through the Gospel, and I believe that every act of service, no matter how small, can become a channel through which God touches the world.
