Livelihood Enrichment

Vocational training, micro-grants, skills development, and start-up support for sustainable self-sufficiency.

From Skills to Self-Sufficiency

Poverty is not just a lack of resources — it is a lack of opportunity. FIGCM's Livelihood Enrichment program addresses this by equipping widows, orphans, and vulnerable individuals with practical trades and the tools to build sustainable businesses.

Our vocational training covers hairdressing, tailoring, embroidery, computer literacy, and small business management. Each participant receives hands-on instruction from experienced trainers, followed by start-up kits and mentorship to launch their own enterprise. The program begins with a community needs assessment to match training to local market demand.

Graduates leave with more than a skill — they leave with a livelihood. From apprentices in Nkambe completing tailoring certifications to women in Ngounso launching small businesses, the results speak for themselves: financial independence, restored dignity, and communities strengthened from within.
