Faith in God Charity Missions is a faith-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering widows, orphans, and underserved communities across Cameroon and beyond. Founded in 2014, our work combines immediate relief with long-term empowerment through four core pillars: health and nutrition, livelihood enrichment, educational assistance, and evangelism.
From monthly food distributions through to vocational training and educational sponsorships, we equip vulnerable individuals with the tools and support they need to build sustainable futures.

Job Summary
The Fundraising Manager will lead and coordinate fundraising initiatives that help sustain and expand the work of Faith in God Charity Missions. Working closely with the Director of Development, this volunteer will develop fundraising strategies, strengthen donor relationships, cultivate partnerships, and coordinate campaigns that generate financial support for programs serving widows, orphans, and underserved communities.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, relationship builder, and passionate advocate who enjoys inspiring generosity and connecting individuals, churches, businesses, foundations, and community partners with opportunities to make a lasting impact. Through thoughtful fundraising and donor stewardship, the Fundraising Manager will help ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization’s humanitarian and faith-based mission.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- May provide guidance, mentorship, and coordination to fundraising volunteers and campaign participants.
- Collaborate closely with the Grant Coordinator, Marketing & Communications team, and other volunteers involved in development activities.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies that support the organization’s mission, strategic priorities, and long-term sustainability.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee fundraising campaigns, special appeals, seasonal giving initiatives, and community fundraising activities.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, churches, corporate sponsors, community organizations, and philanthropic partners.
- Build and strengthen a culture of generosity by identifying new opportunities to engage supporters in Faith in God Charity Missions’ work.
- Collaborate with the Director of Development to establish annual fundraising goals, campaign objectives, and donor engagement strategies.
- Develop and implement donor stewardship initiatives, including donor appreciation, recognition, and ongoing impact communications.
- Work closely with the Grant Coordinator to align grant funding opportunities with broader fundraising priorities and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to develop fundraising campaigns, donor stories, social media content, email appeals, newsletters, and promotional materials that inspire giving and strengthen supporter engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, donor interactions, campaign performance, and partnership development.
- Monitor fundraising results and analyze campaign performance to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
- Research emerging fundraising trends and recommend innovative strategies that increase community engagement and financial support.
- Represent Faith in God Charity Missions professionally when engaging with donors, churches, businesses, foundations, and community partners.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising, donor stewardship, and development principles.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to engage individuals, churches, businesses, foundations, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and coordinate fundraising campaigns and donor engagement initiatives.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to think strategically and identify new fundraising opportunities that align with the organization’s mission.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote volunteer team.
- Professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling donor and organizational information.
- Demonstrates a genuine commitment to Faith in God Charity Missions’ mission, Christian values, and compassionate approach to serving vulnerable communities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of practical experience.
- Previous experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, donor relations, business development, sales, marketing, community engagement, or partnership development is preferred.
- Experience leading fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship initiatives, sponsorship programs, or community outreach efforts is highly desirable.
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations, charities, churches, or faith-based ministries is an advantage.
- Students, recent graduates, and experienced professionals with relevant skills and a passion for advancing humanitarian and faith-based work are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to participate in virtual meetings and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
- Occasional participation in fundraising events, networking activities, donor meetings, or community outreach initiatives, when applicable.
