Konya is a village under Nkambe Central sub Division in the North West region of Cameroon. The inhabitants of this village fetch their drinking water from a stream that flows through the village. It is in this same stream they wash their dresses and some even bathe in that same stream.
With this single source of water and the condition, most of the time they suffer from diseases like cholera, dysentery etc. With a good source of portable water, it will help them live healthily.
