Monthly food distribution, health resources, and nutrition support for widows, orphans, and vulnerable families across Cameroon.
Health & Nutrition
Nourishing Communities, Restoring Dignity
Every month, FIGCM teams organize food distribution events across multiple communities in Cameroon, providing nutritious food and essential supplies to widows, orphans, and vulnerable households. Each event begins with a thorough needs assessment to ensure resources reach those who need them most.
We procure a variety of nutritious food items — grains, pulses, fresh vegetables, and household essentials — and distribute them directly to families in organized community events that serve at least 60 beneficiaries per gathering.
But this program is about more than food. It is about restoring dignity. For a widow caring for orphaned children, for an elderly person living alone, for a family displaced by crisis — knowing that a reliable source of support exists changes everything. Monthly distribution creates stability, reduces the daily burden of food insecurity, and frees families to focus on education, health, and long-term recovery.
